Our admission policies require screening for various conditions which might influence a client’s ability to make use of our services.
In cases where we determine that placement at Summit might be inappropriate, the client, their family and friends, and any supporting professionals such as their therapist will be consulted and provided with outside referrals that may better accommodate their specific needs.
Summit Malibu maintains professional relationships with several local treatment centers with specific therapeutic specialties and a variety of price options.
HARP Palm Beach is a residential drug and alcohol facility, licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families. We provide addiction treatment services to male and female adults 18 years of age and older.
Inpatient treatment is recommended for those that have a history of drug and alcohol abuse, those that have been to treatment prior, or those that may require medically assisted inpatient detoxification. Clients live in gender-specific two apartments in private or semi-private rooms on a very secluded, safe, waterfront property located in Singer Island, Florida.
Individuals come to HARP Palm Beach because drugs and alcohol have begun to negatively affect their lives. Our residential treatment program is geared toward clients that are in need of 30, 60, or 90 days of inpatient residential treatment due to their unmanageable lifestyle and the severity of their disease.
Our treatment center and residential building are footsteps away from each other, eliminating the time that most centers spend busing their guests around from the house to the actual clinical office. The accommodations for our guests are two beds per room. Select rooms have a water view overlooking the serene St. Lucie River. Waters Edge Recovery maintains a small number of beds because we believe in keeping treatment intimate. We believe our clients should be treated as guests not patients, and the only way to do that is to keep it small so that everyone is on a first name basis.
At Waters Edge Recovery we want our guests to trust that they are our number one priority. Each guest is treated with the utmost dignity and respect, paying close attention to each individual’s needs. With this approach we are able to re-instill the loss of self-confidence many addicts feel early on. We are here to make a difference in the lives of our guests as well as their family and loved ones. The staff at Waters Edge Recovery believes that it is a privilege to be part of the life changing and healing process of your recovery.
Valley Recovery Center of California provides you with a meaningful addiction treatment experience in a supportive atmosphere where you can begin to heal, restore, and renew your life. The goal of our Whole Person Care approach is to treat the mind, body and spirit.
Our Whole Person Care approach greets clients with no judgments, no criticisms for where they have been, while introducing new habits, rituals, and wellness techniques. We have a comprehensive treatment program, offering detoxification, residential treatment, day treatment, as well as intensive outpatient.
Our addiction treatment philosophy involves all of the following aspects:
We believe the development of the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist is an important factor in a positive outcome. From this foundation, the mutually agreed-upon treatment plan is developed.
We believe addiction is a complex but treatable disease that affects brain function and behavior. No single addiction treatment is appropriate for everyone and at VRCC we seek collaboration on the client’s ideas and preferences to help guide their course of change.
We believe cognitive behavioral therapies, medication management and detoxification are the most productive forms of alcohol and drug addiction treatment. The use of individual, family and group therapies assist clients to change and provide incentives for abstinence, building skills to resist drug use, improve problem-solving skills and facilitate better family and interpersonal relationships.
Our core curriculum addresses Whole Person Care, Relapse Prevention, Co-occurring Disorders (dual diagnosis), Addiction-free Pain Management, Denial and Disease management, Mindfulness practices and Positive Psychology techniques in a safe, therapeutic environment.
We feel privileged to honor the client’s process of change, and use the client’s feedback to tailor our services to each individual.
