At Infinite Sober Living, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young women that will establish a strong foundation of mind, body, and spirit as they address the unique needs of their recovery. We believe that our individualized program will empower those struggling with alcoholism and addiction to make the necessary changes in their lives. The ultimate goal is to provide the tools for each resident to remain clean and sober while experiencing a life of infinite possibilities.
In today’s world, there is a new understanding of the unique needs women face in their journey through recovery. At Infinite Sober Living, we believe that a gender-specific approach is necessary for a solid foundation of a more fulfilling life. Studies show that women struggle more with co-occurring disorders and past traumas which has lead to an increased rate in addiction among women. Our approach is to help our residents process the reasons they started drinking or using drugs in the first place. We believe, at Infinite Sober Living, that by creating a solid foundation of mind, body and spirit our residents are setup for a longer-lasting, healthier and happier life!
Our program, at Infinite Sober Living, uses a well-rounded approach of helping our residents find the root causes of their addiction and learn safe and natural ways to cope with everyday problems. We believe that by fostering an environment that allows our residents to learn, understand and love themselves, not as addicts or alcoholics, but who they are at the core. We also believe that it is essential that the learning environment is fun and supportive so that our residents feel safe to let their walls down and allow the real recovery to start. When this happens along with the mind, body and spirit working together, our residents are given the opportunity to build the strongest foundation in their recovery!

We believe in the importance of having fun and experiencing the gifts of love and friendship in the early stages of sobriety. We encourage honesty and integrity, meeting attendance, working with sponsors, helping others and living the life which you were meant to lead. Our commitment is to ensure the highest level of safety, security, care and welfare of each and every resident house member. To establish a solid foundation in recovery and begin changing the behaviors that interfere with recovery. To develop and maintain a unified support group of women committed to living drug and alcohol free.
TROSA is a comprehensive two year residential substance abuse recovery program in Durham, North Carolina accepting substance abusers with one condition: they must have a strong desire to change their lives. TROSA’s program elements include vocational training, education, counseling, mentoring, leadership training, and aftercare.
Our treatment model is the Therapeutic Community, a drug-free residential setting that uses a hierarchical model with treatment stages reflecting increased levels of personal and social responsibility. The community relies on its members – both treatment staff and those in the program – as change agents. For more information on therapeutic communities, see the National Institute on Drug Abuse website.
There is no cost to the individual receiving treatment at TROSA. Our funding comes from three primary sources: revenue generating businesses which provide vocational training for residents, donations from individuals, companies, and foundations, and modest government support. TROSA is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status and is governed by a Board of Directors.
The TROSA formula works. Over 1200 people have graduated from our program and gone on to live healthy, productive lives as members of their communities and families.
At Hummingbird House, you are a part of the ‘sisterhood’ as soon as you arrive and our philosophy is to treat each member of the house with genuine respect, warmth, and care. We want you to learn to live a life of purpose, integrity and dignity, as sober women in the world, and with the support of peers who have walked the path. While we embrace spirituality and mindfulness, creativity and fun, and our daily routines reflect the healthiest rhythms for early recovery, our model is founded in the Twelve Steps. We also emphasize a holistic approach that addresses and promotes physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Hummingbird House models and reinforces assertiveness rather than aggression, honesty rather than manipulation, and home life rather than street life – and our expectations of you mirror this premise.

Real Recovery is a half way housing and treatment aftercare program designed specifically for young men ages 18-28 that have struggled with substance abuse and addiction. Situated on seven acres of beautiful riverfront property just north of the mountain city of Asheville, North Carolina, our halfway house program for young men is unlike any other program that exists in the country.
We take a common sense approach to rehabilitation. Rather than being institutional, we implement a highly structured program in a casual halfway house environment. Each of our residents have individualized and structured plans in place designed specifically for them by the highly-trained expert staff at Real Recovery. Our clients participate in daily group activities, therapy, community and 12-step applications in a supportive, brotherhood-focused sober community. Although Real Recovery is a half way housing provider, our individualized and hands-on approach to the services we offer for young men stand out from those of standard halfway house programs across the United States.
What makes us really unique, however, is our belief in teaching young men to live life on life’s terms. Our goal is to instill in each of our clients a love for the life that they have been graciously given. Fun, love, and helping others are the answers to a successful rehabilitation at Real Recovery.
Our community is committed to ensuring a safe, affordable and quality sober living recovery environment. Our program is structured to implement everything our residents have acquired in treatment or through the twelve step recovery process. We care deeply about our residents success and provide them with the best possible chance of achieving and maintaining sobriety. Our design for living has been designed to help build character, self-esteem, and accountability in order to help in the process of rebuilding lives. We provide maximum opportunity for driven individuals who desire a complete sober living environment. We provide you with a foundation upon which you may gain access to freedom from the bondage of alcoholism and addiction. We as a community are committed to making the recovery and safety of our residents our number one priority.
