    Cottage Healthcare Services Inc
Cottage Health Care Services provides outpatient counseling services in several modalities. These include individual, group, and family counseling. The modality of service is determined based on the consumer’s need, as well as the availability of services offered. Outpatient services are only provided by licensed clinicians (LPC, Provisional Licensed; LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, M.D., DO) under the supervision of the supervisors and all participation in outpatient services is voluntary with the informed consent of the consumer (and legal guardian as appropriate). content imageEvidence-based treatment modalities are utilized that reflect the developmental need of the consumer. For example, Play Therapy techniques and Behavioral Therapy may be more appropriate for younger children, while more cognitive techniques (Solution Focused, Reality Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) may be more appropriate for older and more self-reflective consumers. Clinicians will focus and utilize client strengths throughout the treatment process. Additionally, Cottage Health Care Services does not condone any experiential techniques that may degrade, insult, humiliate, or cause any psychological or physical harm. Wellness models may be incorporated into the rehabilitative treatment to emphasis self-care and personal development. Evidenced based models of wellness (Meyers and Sweeney, 2005) stress self-care, but also consider other holistic aspects to include the individual’s social, physical, coping, and creative dimensions in personal development.
