Mission Statement
Elderberry House offers a safe, and sane living environment for people in early recovery as well as those with "some time under their belt". The houses are structured in such a way to offer support to the recovering individual without caretaking. The members of the house help, encourage, and empower each other, creating a supportive family atmosphere.
The new resident is expected to:
- Obtain employment within a resonable time period.
- Participate in their aftercare program.
- Become active in a 12step fellowship.
- Buy & cook their own food.
- Take care of their responsibility in the house.
We have 3 houses in South Central Austin. Each House is conveniently located to major bus routes, grocery stores, and shopping centers. Some of the city's larger AA, NA, & CA meetings, are all located in safe & peaceful neighborhoods
All Bills Paid
- $110 per week
- $200 security deposit
- Fully furnished, Satelite TV, Laundry facilities
- Local phone service, and Computer with internet
