Hello everyone!
Just stopped in to see what condition your condition was in,yeah ,yeah ,oh yeah..Sorry about that ,love that joint,used to play it in a band...:) Hope everyone is staying in the solution and finding some peace and serenity in the daily adventure of life.We are well Jaelyn,my daughters now 21 day old daughter is such a gift from God.We are truly blessed.Can't get the baby to stay at our house overnite yet,daughter is locked in,we'll give her a month or so!!!! She is so beautiful/ Eric doing well.just did a 21 day bid at a rehab instead of jail for last year probation violation and did well.Going to a trade school 4 nights a week for computer technology thru a PELL grant and a student loan.Him and his girlfriend still making best of it,staying clean and doing the right thing for the right reason.Laurie is well and drooling to get at the baby!!! She comes from a family of many Foster CHILDREN AND LOVES BABIES! i LOVE OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN(CAUSE THEY GO HOME AT NIGHT) just kiddin,....:) I am really deeply involved with my fellowships .I have taken on an H&I commitment at a hospital Turning Point ,a facility my son actually went through for detox from Heroin with my NA group.It is truly a blessing to be able to do service and to give back what was so freely given to me.We are also having a "speaker jam' at my saturday home group"men do recover".Topic "no addict need die from the horrors of addiction.I am grateful to do the coffee commitment again, Looking forward,lot of out of town speakers and good clean fun/fellowship and a message of hope! Tomorrow night I celebrate 4 years at Nar_Anon .I have cu tback somewhat on my weekly attendance as I ALWAYS PRAY FOR BALANCE and involvement for the rest otf the parts of my life as a parent/husband/friend GRANDFATHER(GREAT)etc... I pray long and get plenty of support and questions from my loved ones to ensure I dont spread the commitments beyond my recovery at home..You knw I got some of that self centeredness thing that needs to be always kept up front in order to stay in that balance.Our wednesday night rehearsals for a Bass player for our forming band has been slow but we are having fun/my wife is using Wednesday nights now for trip to see baby.We play 3 hours and it has been condusive to all...God is good and continues to bring us harvest and though at times it gets dark we do not forsake in that darkness what we see in the light!!..Ann/Pat/Clint/LARRY/KEITH/KATWOMAN any and all ,especialy newcomers,I wish you peace and will stop in on the rebound.I think and pray for all and their journeys through this day by day adventure.Remember with God(of your understanding )All thiings are possible.Just for today reach toward being of maximum service to your God and helping others,it will light up your life(now who sang that one??))::)

Hey Mike. So glad to hear from you as always. I'm glad you're in balance and that Eric is coming along. Hope this one takes, huh!!! Babies are great when they're someone eles's but in the same token it's great to have your own stay overnight now and again. I miss mine terribly. I talk to my son about 2 times a week and the boys get on and talk too.
My brother's girls (grown w/familes) take turns having a supper every monday night at each other's house. They do the main and the rest of us bring a dish to go along. There's some salad, bread, plates, napkins and that stuff always needed. It's great fun and good company. One niece has 4 little girls, one 2 little boys and the rest are teens. So it keeps me in tune for when mine visit.
Haven't been on site here much. So many quit posting. Seems the atmosphere changes about every year. They come and go. But as always you have an upbeat spirit and great words of advice. Your giving back even helps what some consider an "old timer" like me. Thanks for letting me share.
