I find it hard to believe that some people say that one's sobriety date should restart if they have just a couple of beers. That just seems harsh to me.

all it takes is a few beers to relapse...in the meetings one is to many and a thousand is never enough something for you to think about.

The program is based on abstinence from all drugs, including the most widely abused and deadly, alcohol. It has never been how much but what happpens after those few beers or whatewver. In a atter of time, it iis usually a desire for more.

Sobriety dates are part of working an honest program You are important, there is no escape from knowing that.
