Hello Family! Been MIA here for a bit.Life fast and furious and all good,by the grace of God.Last night Sarah my 23 year old ,had a little baby girl,Jaelyn Amiah,McNeil, truly a blessing,5 lbs 12 ounces.Mother and child(and grandparents) doing well.Eric was sent back to a Rehab ,instead of jail, for a Probation violation, but all is well with him,He is still clean and getting ready for night school for Computer technology! Hey Ann,Pat,Keith,Larry,Clinton, and all who share their ESH on this site.Welcome to all newcomers,we keep what we have by giving it away and we are glad you joined us..I'll stop back in and let you know whats shaking in our part of the planet, when I get a chance. In the meantime,go with God(of your understanding ) and carry the message that an addict, any addict can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live...Peace and serenity .see ya on the rebound!!!Cool

Hey Mike, that grandparent thing.  Something you can't describe to someone but it's a feeling unto itself.  Give her and the new Mommy a hug for me.  I'm glad you and the wife are good.  Maybe this is where Eric needs to be right now.  Take care and stay in touch.

today is the next step in the journey......paw

Thanks for sharing and being a part of... glad to hear your son caught a break and is rehab instead of jail. The best place for him right now. I have one still active, despite his exposure to recovering parents and siblings. He still has the "that ain't me syndrome". We'll see how long it lasts, unfortunately, it could go on for awhile. I have had to protect myself, so distance works,as does not asking too many questions. He either avoids. lies or just tells me what he thinks I want to hear.

I take care of me and then all is well...
