Pneumonia from drug use

has anyone else had anyone close to them get pneumonia from using?  My fiance was in rehab and then got rushed to the hospital this morning and they diagnosed him with having pneumonia.

Are they sure it's from drug use?  I personally have never heard that before.  I sure hope he's doing better soon...

I am not familiar with it from experience.  However I do know that drug usage is linked to lower immunity, and lower immunity to illness.  I hope your fiance is doing better!

Hi,

I am sure that his immunity system was low and that is how he got pneumonia.  He actually told me that he may have had a slight heart attack.

Thanks for responding and I'm sure it was from his immune system being so low from using so much.
