Great Grandpa, Wow!!!   That's exciting and I wish all well  Eric sounds like he's getting it together.  He should be proud.

It snowed here again today.  Put another 22" on top of the all ready 30" we had.  Have the front porch and walkway to the driveway.  Now all I have to do is get someone to plow it out and then dig up and dig out the poor mailbox.  When you live on a major thoroughfare with a shoulder, they tend to plow snow faster than secondary roads.  Therefore the mailboxes always end up beat up and plowed under.

Clint, I will certainly keep you posted on the educational route.

Ann, I will try and get an email off to you.  I know you've been busy but that's still no excuse for not checking in.

today is the next step in the journey......paw

Good to hear, Mike.

You sure sound like you have a lot of things going on.  A busy man, you are! And certainly good news about Eric.

It's snowing in Texas.  This is rare.  And when I say it's snowing, I mean it, it's snowing!

Have a good day all.

Yeah, I agree coming from your neck of the woods.

I think the last time I saw it snow like this in Texas was around 2004 or so.  It's been a long time.  And of course, when it snows here (or ices), everything closes.  People rarely drive on ice/snow in Texas, and it creates a bit of a road hazard for everyone if they do.

I remember when I was a kid and was visiting Tenn.  They had a snow squall one morning, which was really a dusting to us.  Schools closed, stores shut down, gas stations were running at a minimum staff.  It's all in what you get used to.

Hello!

Glad to be here.  Congratulations on being a Great Grandpa Mike!

Glad you are feeling better Clinton!  I was thinking about you too!  Have you decided where you are going yet?

PAW, you know I am always willing to talk to you!  Except for the fact that I didn't have internet, phone, or cable service for two weeks.  I can't get sober.com for mobile service either.  I had to wait for everything until Tuesday, and I did check in then.  I will try to check in everyday just for you!!

Keep coming back, I know I will!

Good morning! (At least on the west coast it's 9am)

How is everyone doing today?  Hope everyone has a great weekend!  Watch the Olympics and enjoy your Valentines Day!

Mike you will adapt.  There will be things you miss, but there will be new things you will like!  I moved out here with my family after being in MN for 28/29 years.  It is a big change after being in one place for so long!

Okay, well promised I would check in.  I have a family birthday to celebrate today and tomorrow, so I gotta go!

Keep coming back!

Ann,

It should be either:  Georgia, Louisiana, or Colorado.  I am leaning heavily on Colorado and Georgia.  I have applied to three programs, and am waiting to hear back.

All,

Happy Vday!  Pat, Ann, Mike, I hope you all have a great weekend.  Maybe the weather will get a wee bit better for all of us soon.

Today has been such a miserable day at work.  I am apart of the skeleton crew.  I work at a pre- cast concrete company, and because the weather is below freezing, the manufacturing plant did not come to work.  I work in a attached office and there are very few of us here today.  Phones aren't ringing, no customers, just boredom.  Luckily I brought a few books and I am getting to catch up on some stuff.

Hope all is well,

Clint
