There is a person at every meeting who is in charge. Sets up, turns on the lights, makes the coffee, greets everyone. Everyone knows without this person, there would be no meeting. This person knows your name, even if you've only been to a few meetings. He will go to court with you or sit and talk with you. Always welcoming weather someone relapses or not. for me this person is a guy named George. George belongs to my old home meeting in MN.
George, I heard about your daughter passing away from h1n1. I know that you are a strong man. I know if anyone can get through this, it is you. However, I would like to take a minute to ask all my friends and family and people on this site to pray for George and his family. Pray that they are comforted and find peace this Christmas. Have a Merry Christmas George! I pray that you are able to continue to help people at meetings! Thanks for helping me.
