Hi James welcome to the site. Did you try the directory on this site? And you can also Google the info and then do the 'legwork', ie: calling and researching the place. Do you attend AA meetings? There's a great place to get word of mouth about places. Good Luck to you. And stop back to let us know how it goes for you.
today is the next step in the journey......paw
thanks for the reply. yes, ive found a few on the oxford house website and i have been to meetings. down south in texas there are usually postings on bulletin boards at meetings but i have yet to found any up here in philly.
Good luck with your search.
I would definitely recommend looking online, or asking some in meetings. You will find others in the room that have been right where you are. What part of Texas are you from?
Living a happy, joyous, and free life by embracing the mind, body, and spirit.
i was living in beautiful plano which is outside of dallas but have been in austin last year at a sober house. btw, im an eagles fan and not a cowboys fan. were you ever in texas?
Yeah. I live about an hour east from dallas. I originally hail from Austin though. I love that area!
Hi James!
Have you found a place yet?
Keep coming back!
Ann
hi all. i have an interview w/ an oxford house this monday. hit an aa mtg yesterday in philly that was really good. eatin peanut butter puffins w/ soy milk and blueberries and drinkin black coffee so all is well.
Good to hear. Let us know how it goes. Clint
Boy I'll tell ya, if you can eat that, you'll do great!!!
Soy milk is amazing! I keep it at my house, and at work. It has a long shelf life, so it want spoil as quickly as milk. Cereal is hot stuff.
