Keith,

Can you clarify your last post?  I am not sure what you mean.  Thanks,

Hello again to one and all,

Sincerest wishes that anyone who happens upon this post is doing better today than yesterday. As for me it's the little things that matter most. Like spending time with my daughter, after not seeing her for three years.

As far as my addiction goes, well I don't use when I don't have money and I haven't had money in a very long time. Nasty bit of a pickle I have gotten myself into. Being that I am reveling in my clean time (100+ days) I would rather not risk the possibility of going back out, just to keep up with the Jones.

Keith......I have told you I would be willing to try anything, in fact I have. If you think you have something I haven't heard of , by all means please share it with me. I do realise I am a difficult case as I am open and honest. Not to mention, humbly, intelligent and articulate. I do believe "you can't mean what you say if you don't say what you mean". Hence when you qoute the big book with "Rarely have we seen....", you must admit that there are those occurances when in fact it does fail even though the aforementioned person "has thoroughly followed (their) path" ie; Me.  all that talk aside, I implore you to reveal any and all techniques which may be of consequence in relieving me of this compulsion, as my life depends on it.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely, Larrylive

Well what do you know, I'm still alive. Better yet clean and sober. Better yet coming up on six months. Better yet I have money in my pocket, it ain't twenty bucks but it was before the packof smokes. As a matter of fact I often have money in my pocket. Stange thing for this excrackhead, but I had to work hard to do it. Fortunately the good Lord kept bangin on my brain and I took the advise. Aversion therapy, it works and if you have a problem with some compulsive behavior I suggest you give it a whirl. Meanwhile life is good. A bitconfusing and at times over whelming. But with clarity of vision and determination in my heart I am enjoying every struggle and experience.

Hope all is well with you and yours,    Larry

Hey Larry,

Although I am not a addict per say I am the sister of a raging heroin addict. I have my vices mainly sex addiction and pot. I do love meth but have kicked that away twice in my life. Anyway I read an article how this woman cured her bipolar and drug addictions by electric shock therapy, the article explained how the therapy isn't how is used to be and now its painless and controlled and helps many people. I suggested the same treatment for my sister but she is out of touch yet again. I am sorry that you have lost your family. Are you a capricorn perhaps or a pisces? Ive known many addicts to various extents and Ive noticed that pisces males have a major addiction tendencies and capricorns do not like the idea of the drugs being unattainable. They seem to be amazing at functioning addicts where they will work all week long sober but come friday they know that gram, ball or whatever is waiting for them. Anyway perhaps now you will think im full of *** but im just posting my experiences.

Sorry I read no recent posts. I looked into aversion therapy and happy that that has helped you. I need to get my sis that treatment. I'm so happy you are sober and on your feet! Take care!

JUst read this whole thread. Larry's some character. I like him a lot. Glad your doing well Larry. I'm going to check out Aversion therapy as soon as I finish typing this as I'm cute up in the same type of way you are with money. My think is heroin though. Hope you keep us updated Larry.
