"Keep  testing the waters my friend, and soon you'll be swimming on your own.  I wish you all the best. "

I don't know how to take that, probably because I am a very sarcastic person. Assuming PAW ain't; thanks

Anyway....MERRY CHRISTMAS

If at first you don't succeed, try try again.    It means that if you keep trying recovery, you'll make it.  I truly believe you can do it.

It wasn't meant to be sarcastic.  Although I've been called that many, many times, recovery is a very serious subject with me.  And I DO wish you the best.......

Happy Holiday's to All,

May you have a safe and joyous New Year.....

I shall be beginning mine with the  aformentioned intensive outpatient program, yes the very one I attended nine months ago (for three weeks) it actually is scheduled for 5hrs/day 5days/wk for 6mos. Fortunately with my eviction has come a bit of a reprive from crack, nobody knows where I live and I don't go looking for them, or tell them where when we run into each other.

I re-read the thread and some one had mentioned something about my coming and going and how so many others stop by once or twice. Well I am persistant if nothing else. I also belong to a few different forums and I do notice most have a core membership and a gazillion one time posters. That always makes me sad, because I think they might be hating life somewhere or worse.

But first me and then the rest of us. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

Regards, Larrylive

Larry it's always good to hear from you.  I truly hope this works out for you.  The new year, a new life.  You sound positive and upbeat, I wish you a very Happy New Year, and all the best for you.

I've been on site here for a number of years and there are so many that have come and gone.  I only hope that they have found a recovery program that works for them.

For those that may come on to read and not post, if you're still suffering, just reach out.  Someone will grab your hand.

Hello Larry!

Good for you!  Keep it up, and keep an open mind.  I did outpatient also.  It works if you work it!

Keep coming back!
