hi cherie, my name is mikef welcome to the site.i agree with "luke"but i also agree that God puts forums and programs in place for our help.i have been clean for 24 years from a life of torment and i know God has a reason for me being here. i am back with NA not because i have a desire to pick up but because i have a desire to continue to learn more about myself and by possibly instilling more thoughts of keeping what i have by maybe giving it away.. I  also attend NARANON as a parent of an addicted child.my strength and faith have held me together thru both periods in my life as an addict and a parent of an addict..i also didnt do much programming when i began my recovery in 1984 but i now find it very serene(cant spell)and God inspired. i wish you peace everyday and hope you continue in your recovery,one day at a time.may God continue to bless your life......ramblings from an old hippie mikef............
