Hi everyone! Just checking in to say hey.We gort our first actual offer on our house yesterday. We dropped to $165m and got an offer of $140m.Now the bartering begins. We'll see what God has in store for us.House been on market almost 6 months now and as we all know ,market not that good.Feels exciting to get some action anyway.Eric got his top teeth out yesterday. He said he is glad it didnt happen all at once. The tops were a little more hurtful. His new insurance through Medicaid(MVP) said that getting his full plate will be much quicker now(they were originally saying like 6 months!!)He is continuing his probation reports, doing his intensive care program and serious about his recovery. We are all taking it "one day at a time" and continue to allow the God of our uderstanding run the show(sometimes tough for an old hardhead like me,but I work hard at it!)We were contemplating trip to Florida in June but will wait for a minute see whats up with home sale.Sarah and Devon doing really well, she is now in the process of trying to have a baby!!Told her we accept all children up till 6:00 p.m. then they must go home(earlier if they cry a lot!!!)Jus t kidding Im excited. We are well and I am praying for all here, think of you all often and keep you in my daily office of prayer.,I'll talk to you on the rebound.Go with God and have a blessed and productive day!!peaceCool

Yeah the economy is good for the buyer right now, that's for sure. I sure hope it works out for ya.  Grandparents DO have trouble with the little ones cries.  Tough on the heart.  But that's the great thing about it, stop the crying by any means possible, especially if it includes spoiling and then them home.

Hey remember that it takes 6 months for bone to heal, so if Eric had any teeth cut out that's a thought.  Hubby didn't get his plates for 6 months and it really paid off.  Swelling had gone and bone was pretty much healed by then.  Tricky eating at first but gums got used to it after awhile.  Funny how the 'ol body works, huh?

Ride the cloud my friend for as long as you can.....

today is the next step in the journey......paw

Boy graduates next month, new baby on the way the end of the year, kids coming up the week of the 4th, don't know how that's going to pan out.  Don't have the place to put them up.

Thought about auctioning this place.  Just put it all out there and sell it.  Been year 40 years and have too much STUFF!!!  I understand completely about moving on.  I think staying here keeps me more focused on what was.  The boy doesn't want to move but then this is the only home he's felt comfortable in. Don't think he realizes just how much it costs out there, nor do most of them on the first shot.....

I don't get to see my kids but about twice a year, talk to them a lot on the phone though.  I DO love my boys, that's a fact. Don't miss the 12 hour babysitting days, but miss having them close by.  They grow so fast.

Anyway, glad Eric didn't have to have any cut.  That's a tough one to take.  Here's wishing you and the wife all the best with your sale.  Just keep us posted.

today is the next step in the journey......paw

Hey back!

Good to hear from you.  Glad that Eric is doing okay!  Glad the rest of the family is doing well.

It is a buyers market right now.  You will not get the price it is listed at unless everything is new and updated and in perfect condition.  Everyone wants something for nothing.  Do you have a new house yet?  Out here, seems like everyone is buying in the same area.  It gets competitive, you'll have to be creative with your bids.

  Peace be with you!

Hey Ann,really good to hear from you. Thanks for the support 'one day at a time" Eric is finding his way.You know we don't even have a place to live,so tonight we are going driving around see what living arrangements we come up with.Even the agent of the buyer said,"you don't even know where your going!! God does! ,so we'll just pray for His plan to be made aware to us.Sounds like buyer really likes house and wants to close quickly so exceleration may be forth coming on our part.Eric is in process of getting assisted living and public assistance so hopefully that ties in(im sure it will,on faith I believe that) We may rent for a year or so and then move so so my wife can be near her family. We will take it "not only one day but one thing at a time..Kind of scary and exciting. You know how we can get "comfortable' and not want to step out.We are seeing this as a new beginning. We may not even buy again. Our focus now is to get out of debt that is starting to choke us off.Charge cards, car payments, and all of lifes goodies that are just there.I actually eligible for social security now at 62 but going to try and hold out until full payment at 66.Ive been talking with God a lot about that one!!!! Anyway all is well,we are blessed and Just For Today MY THOUGHTS WILL BE ON MY NEW ASSOCIATIONS PEOPLE WHO ARENT USING AND FOUND A NEW WAY TO LIVE ,AS LONG AS i FOLLOW THAT WAY ,i HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR! I love that writing!...Hope you and your family are well and  I pray for your dads continued recovery. Thanks for being part of my support and recovery process  here,it really helps!Cool

One of the clearest lessons of the last few decades is that capitalism is indestructible. Marx compared it to a vampire, and one of the salient points of aicp comparison now appears to be that ardms always rise up again after being stabbed to death. Even Mao’s attempt, in the Cultural Revolution, to wipe out the traces of capitalism, ended up in its triumphant return asvab. Today’s Left reacts in a wide variety of ways to the hegemony of global capitalism and its political supplement, liberal democracy. It might, for example, accept the hegemony cahsee, but continue to fight for reform within its rules (this is Third Way social democracy).
