My suggestion concerning Boca House is set up your own web site and lodge all your complaints there. We here on site want to deal with people getting well, helping those that are still suffering and and to share our experience, strength and hope. There is a 'group' on here for parents who are having problems with their children and are in hopes that you parents will get together in that group and discuss your mutual problems, somewhat like your own Alanon, Naranon group.
This is just my humble opinion and does not reflect others unless they so desire. Thanks Pat

Paw has been here helping to save lives in a "manner of recovery" for many years.You have posted 4 times and now seem to be in "attack mode" .Our forum is about bringing the 'MESSAGE OF HOPE " AND THE PROMISE OF FREEDOM from active addiction to those still "sick and suffering" by sharing our strength ,hope and experience with suggestions that may have or have not helped us in our addction.We are not here to promote or downgrade rehab's,facilities or sober living situations.There are avenues that you can pursue if you feel the need to vent.Every individual looking for these facilities needs investigate such facilities thoroughly and if not feeling good about them contact the proper authorities!.Please share in a manner of recovery" if you care to.Paw is not my mother,or sister or owner of this site but a "recovering" individual sharing honestly and with honesty and discernment.Our 5th tradition tells us "each group has but one primary purpose-to carry the message to the addict who still suffers" Our 10th tradition also tells us we have no opinion on outside issues,we dont take sides and we dont have recommendations.We here are "working " a program of recovery .Please share in a recovery based manner.!!! mikef

Well I'm not here to argue. And I guess if you've taken so much anger from the post, then it's directed at you. I am humble and very grateful to be sober today.
I have no vested interest in this or any rehab facility. Personally I've never attended rehab except to have an outpatient therapy.
I am not a doctor or for that matter have anything to do with the medical field. I'm just a lowly "ma'am" living a financially poor life in a rural area of Maryland.
I have no vested interest nor do I own this site. I am only here as a recovering alkie trying to make suggestions and help others.
There are usually 3 sides to a story, your take, my take and what really happens. I just don't think it's necessary to post time and time again saying the same thing. We're fairly smart people here and usually don't need to read bad news over and over and over.
I feel for you having all this anger inside and think you yourself would benefit from some meetings to gather tools to learn how to better release your feelings without having to lash out. I certainly understand your frustration and disgust concerning this place, I just feel you've said it enough and let's move on. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't understand why you needed to attack PAW! We here people complain about treatment or sober living places on here a lot. I think we are all sick of the negativity! Usually if someone doesn't like a place it is because they aren't putting any effort into working their program. Most people that have problems are the ones who have attitudes at these places. Talk to the people who run Boca House if you think it is so horrible! PAW is humble, leave her alone! How long have you been sober, and who do you think you are??

There was a time on site where we could see IP addresses for each post. Everytime this topic surfaced, it seemed to be the same person making a number of posts, each with different screen names. Since the site has been updated, this feature is no longer available to the administrators. I am not here to continue this topic anymore, but all I can say is that the problem is probably not what you are making it to be. I think a problem of this nature is normally directed towards a BBB, and not a recovery site. May I add, none of us members on site are getting paid for our efforts, and we have no vested interests in the marketing endeavors on site. That being said, we do this to share ESH, to those who want to get sober.
You, my friend, should be barking up another tree. This isn't the place, and if there really is a problem, it needs to go to the right person. But again, I would like inside yourself before you think there is a problem somewhere else.
That being said, I hope you are finished with all your remarks.
