The philosophy is that the treatment of chemical dependency is a disease and the facility is dedicated to utilizing several relapse prevention models to find long term recovery. We are proud to offer all the traditional approaches that work for those suffering from addictions but we also have creative approaches. We offer Destination Therapy which gets away from the standard group therapy and explores an individual’s defects in different settings. We move clients toward all different types of activities outside the group setting and with staff they achieve long desired goals in a safe, sober atmosphere. We also invite the family into treatment to participate with their loved one. We have staff work with family members in accordance with the individual in treatment. Ridgeview Institute is a private, not-for-profit hospital treating people with addiction or mental health problems, serving youth, young adults, adults, older adults, professionals who need intervention, and women affected by eating disorders or trauma.
