Destination Hope staff will assist and direct you and your family toward long term recovery. Destination Hope is a warm and intimate environment focused on the whole person and their family. The philosophy is that the treatment of chemical dependency is a disease and the facility is dedicated to utilizing several relapse prevention models to find long term recovery. We are proud to offer all the traditional approaches that work for those suffering from addictions but we also have creative approaches. We offer Destination Therapy which gets away from the standard group therapy and explores an individual’s defects in different settings. We move clients toward all different types of activities outside the group setting and with staff they achieve long desired goals in a safe, sober atmosphere. We also invite the family into treatment to participate with their loved one. We have staff work with family members in accordance with the individual in treatment. The result is a healthier family unit and long term recovery.

Dr. Pecoraro holds a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, two Master Degrees in the mental health field and has been in the field of counseling for over 20 years. He is a Licensed Psychologist & Neuropsychologist, a Certified Addiction Professional and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Dr. Pecoraro treats a wide range of mental health and addiction issues. He has received numerous awards for his work in both the mental health and addictions fields. Dr. Pecoraro lectures worldwide. He has published numerous articles in professional journals, magazines and has appeared on television and radio. His associates are caring individuals.
