SoberHood is a nonprofit based in Austin, Texas that provides and supports quality sober living environments and services. Our sober houses provide individuals with safe, structured environments in which they can build healthier social bonds with peers supporting each other along recovery. Our live-in house managers uphold our house rules, the cornerstone of our 3 phase sober living program.

Mentor & Recovery is more than a Bed and a “Big Book”. M&R is about community. M&R is a spiritual home for men located in central Austin, Texas. Our community inspires and requires, supporting men to find a new way, a new life and a new happiness through mentorship, direction and support, accountability and action.. Not the old one. M&R is about developing skills and attitudes towards living a purposeful sober life. We are a house with a large heart and an open mind. M&R is not for everyone. But if our members are willing to show up and go to any lengths, we will as well.

Solutions of North Texas provides safe transitional housing for adult men and women suffering from drug addiction and/or alcoholism who have a desire to make a permanent change in their lives. Our structured program is built upon a sincere desire to change, a 12 step commitment, and a willingness to reach out to those who are still struggling. Our program is designed to show the recovering adult how to stay sober step by step while living day to day life in the free world. Our program is all inclusive. The monthly fee, or rent includes room and meals, phone access, internet access, washer and dryer, all utilities and necessary household items. Clothes and toiletries are also available for residents that need help in this area. Our residents are required to work during the day unless disabled or a student. We provide job placement assistance along with bus passes while they look for work. We are located along the bus line. Residents can receive medical care and medication assistance, counseling, and lots of other services for little to no cost. Interested candidates must be willing to go to any lengths to stay sober and must know that they cannot stay sober on their own will. Our residents make a 90-day commitment and can stay as long as a year. During their stay they are drug tested regularly and must attend a minimum of 3 mandatory AA/DAA meetings per week that are onsite. Solutions of North Texas offers a safe and warm environment while residents adhere to a strict code of conduct. We feel that accountability along with willingness and honesty are the necessary tools for recovery. We have a special program for students called Sober Dorm and are located near the University of North Texas and Texas Women’s University. We also provide free family sessions to family members or friends that need help or have questions about their loved one’s addiction, giving the family practical ways to be helpful without enabling harmful behavior.

Our charming, fully furnished 2 bedroom apartments are located in beautiful Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Florida. We are conveniently situated near shopping, employment, recreation, and 12-step meetings. Our residences are Master’s level Social Worker managed with extensive experience in addiction issues. The Bridge is a place where individuals can truly enjoy their recovery.

The finest in men’s transitional living, the Sanctuary in Delray Beach is a place of refuge. Our mission is to provide a home, with full amenities, for men recovering from chemical dependency in an environment steeped in 12 Step principles which is aesthetically pleasing and fosters a healthy, self-disciplined, and meaningful life. The Sanctuary consists of 2 elegantly appointed residences located about a half mile from of the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful Delray Beach, FL.

New Life Launch Pad, Inc. is the elite recovery house system in Wilmington, N.C. We provide pleasant homes in nice neighborhoods for the physical wellbeing and recovery support, on average, of 100 men and women. Ours is a system comprised of 18 individual houses, an outpatient facility licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and three auxiliary buildings for groups and recreational events. In addition to the rules and requirements (among them: community service, curfews, treatment/recovery plan accomplishment) our residents are coached and monitored in pursuing their own ethical and spiritual fulfillment, as well as disciplined 12-step program membership. Our eight- year history in this historical North Carolina coastline community is a regional standard for the growth of cultural solution to the cultural tragedy of alcoholism/addiction. We are respected and legally permitted by local government authority. Scores of our graduates remain in the local community and have established private homes and lifestyles complimentary to our mission. Our licensed, professional division, Addiction Solutions, Inc., is staffed by 7 SA counselors and includes 2 MSWs, 2 Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists and 2 Certified Clinical Supervisors. The Launchpad system also currently includes 14 ‘Recovery Coaches’ who serve as house managers, some of whom are pursuing professional credentialing as counselors. Because social and sports participation are valuable contributors to personal growth we sponsor teams in local city recreational leagues. Celebrate Recovery, a Christian-based 12-step fellowship, is included, along with Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, for fulfillment of the requirement that all our residents be members of 12-step programs.

Our purpose is to bridge the gap between intensive treatment and lasting, sober living. We provide a program that treats our residents with dignity and utilizes a 12-step program to guide them to a new way of life. A sense of fellowship, coupled with moral and character building challenges, promotes productive social interaction with other residents in a caring community.
