The Sunshine House affords each individual the power to change his own life. We are strategically located in the heart of downtown Delray. We are within walking distance to treatment centers, detox centers, employment, 12 step meeting halls, public library , and of course the beach. The Sunshine House is fully furnished with telephone access, cable TV. Including HBO, and DSL. All linens and towels are provided. Washer and dryers in each apartment.

Serenity Lodge is a recovery residence in which chemically dependent adult men can start to rebuild their lives while living in a secure, drug-free and supportive environment that will enhance their recovery process. Our purpose is to bridge the gap between intensive treatment and lasting, sober living. We provide a program that treats our residents with dignity and utilizes a 12-step program to guide them to a new way of life. A sense of fellowship, coupled with moral and character building challenges, promotes productive social interaction with other residents in a caring community.

In 2007 Footprints in Recovery became the first faith-based private substance abuse recovery facility on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since then we have welcomed numerous recovering addicts into our home-like setting. At Footprints in Recovery we do understand the bondage of addiction, and educate our clients on the disease. We are equipped to address addiction by a holistic approach in a Christian environment. Our staff is committed to exemplify faith and hope, not only to our residents, but to their families. We are holistic in the sense that our approach facilitates healing of body, mind, and spirit. Individual and family counseling is provided by extraordinary licensed professionals. Being a small, private facility brings an enormous advantage over state and public detox wards and treatment hospitals. We provide a one-to-two staff ratio and our success rate far exceeds that of institutional treatments. We attribute this good news in large part to our in-depth education on relapse prevention. Other important and unique qualities of the Footprints in Recovery program include our attention given to daily living skills, budgeting and money management, anger management, and self-esteem training. Resident clients assist in,meal preparation, housekeeping and enjoy a variety of Outer Banks recreational activities. We host a family weekend gathering in both our 30 day and 60 day substance abuse treatment programs. Clients graduating from our 60 day recovery program are eligible to enter one of Footprint's longer-term affordable Sober Living homes for women and men. Here, the skills and tools learned during treatment become practical in a safe environment. Our guests report feeling welcomed into the Footprints family, not like a number or statistic. Based in beautiful South West Florida, Mission Unity, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation that offers a safe housing environment for those persons desiring to recover from substance abuse. Mission Unity was created out of love, to provide a safe, stable, sober, and supportive group setting for those persons who express a commitment to total abstinence from substance abuse and recovery from addiction. Mission Unity does not attempt to directly provide professional substance abuse counseling, but does work with many state & local entities that do so, if needed. Mission Unity was incorporated as a Florida not-for-profit corporation in May of 2002. Since that time it has successfully operated several residential facilities in Port Charlotte, FL, transitioning a significant number of persons back into substance free, independent living. The program was begun with a small amount of seed money from concerned, committed community citizens and nominal contributions from residents to cover the cost of food, utilities and housing maintenance. Mission Unity has been gratified by the support of the United Way of Charlotte County, The Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, related Departments of the Charlotte County Government, the FL Department of Children and Families, as well as numerous area churches & private individuals. We have found that an abuse free family group home provides the stability needed for an alcoholic and/or addict to begin rebuilding their life. Turning Point is the preferred destination in the northeast for men who have completed a 28 day primary treatment program and are ready to continue their care in a structured "real world" environment.
