Drug rehab facilities are available across the United States for all types of addictions. From private residential facilities to hospital inpatient treatment, there is a place to find intervention for any kind of substance addiction. The length of time required varies according to the facility type and the extent of addiction. Most inpatient commitment is for 45 to 90 days, but some residents require much longer.

Many of the treatment centers are gender and/or age specific, and this directory focuses specifically on men's treatment. There are significant differences in the needs of men and women, just as there are major differences in young adults and middle age or older adults. Because of these differences, the focus on group rehabilitation and support is more effective when the clients have more in common.

The 12-step drug and alcohol recovery system is used generally throughout all men's treatment facilities in Florida. In addition, there is often an option of a Bible-based program to help those who desire to use the power of their Christian faith in their recovery efforts. Other options such as yoga, vocational training, and various types of recreation are included to provide a well-rounded program.

Once the initial phase of drug rehab has been completed, there are many choice homes providing sober living environments. This transition is a necessary part of the extended recovery for addiction. Living in a safe home environment while getting settled in the workplace is a major step toward remaining drug free. There is always someone available to counsel and provide the necessary support through the times of frustration and disappointment.
