Next Step Foundation provides a safe and sober environment for men and women who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. Next Step residents are able to give themselves a break and focus on a new way of life. We also provide special services such as Drivers license restoration, tax consulting, legal services, employment contacts and many more. Next Step also provides furnished continuing care apartments after completing a 4-6 month residency. We help people find the promises of recovery. Next Step Foundation recognizes the problems experienced by those who are addicted to other negative behaviors such as problem gambling. Many times, problem gambling co-exists with drug and alcohol addiction or becomes a problem for individuals once they are abstinent Next Step Foundation provides references to certified therapists who specialize in gambling addiction as well as peer support meetings.

Serenity Lodge is a recovery residence in which chemically dependent adult men can start to rebuild their lives while living in a secure, drug-free and supportive environment that will enhance their recovery process. Our purpose is to bridge the gap between intensive treatment and lasting, sober living. In 2007 Footprints in Recovery became the first faith-based private substance abuse recovery facility on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since then we have welcomed numerous recovering addicts into our home-like setting. At Footprints in Recovery we do understand the bondage of addiction, and educate our clients on the disease. We are equipped to address addiction by a holistic approach in a Christian environment. Our staff is committed to exemplify faith and hope, not only to our residents, but to their families. We are holistic in the sense that our approach facilitates healing of body, mind, and spirit. Individual and family counseling is provided by extraordinary licensed professionals. Being a small, private facility brings an enormous advantage over state and public detox wards and treatment hospitals. We provide a one-to-two staff ratio and our success rate far exceeds that of institutional treatments. We attribute this good news in large part to our in-depth education on relapse prevention. Other important and unique qualities of the Footprints in Recovery program include our attention given to daily living skills, budgeting and money management, anger management, and self-esteem training. Resident clients assist in,meal preparation, housekeeping and enjoy a variety of Outer Banks recreational activities. We host a family weekend gathering in both our 30 day and 60 day substance abuse treatment programs. The Sunshine House affords each individual the power to change his own life. We are strategically located in the heart of downtown Delray. We are within walking distance to treatment centers, detox centers, employment, 12 step meeting halls, public library , and of course the beach. Here at Mission Unity, we feel that any person trying to free themselves from the bondage of addictions can benefit from living the 12 steps. Based in beautiful South West Florida, Mission Unity, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation that offers a safe housing environment for those persons desiring to recover from substance abuse. Mission Unity was created out of love, to provide a safe, stable, sober, and supportive group setting for those persons who express a commitment to total abstinence from substance abuse and recovery from addiction. Mission Unity does not attempt to directly provide professional substance abuse counseling, but does work with many state & local entities that do so, if needed. Mission Unity was incorporated as a Florida not-for-profit corporation in May of 2002. Since that time it has successfully operated several residential facilities in Port Charlotte, FL, transitioning a significant number of persons back into substance free, independent living. Turning Point is the preferred destination in the northeast for men who have completed a 28 day primary treatment program and are ready to continue their care in a structured "real world" environment. Residents are able to gradually integrate back into society with the support of licensed counselors, professional staff and a vibrant local recovery community offering over 200 12-step meetings a week. Our location allows us to offer a wide variety educational and employment opportunities.
