We also invite the family into treatment to participate with their loved one. We have staff work with family members in accordance with the individual in treatment. The result is a healthier family unit and long term recovery.

Dr. Pecoraro holds a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, two Master Degrees in the mental health field and has been in the field of counseling for over 20 years. He is a Licensed Psychologist & Neuropsychologist, a Certified Addiction Professional and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Dr. Pecoraro treats a wide range of mental health and addiction issues. He has received numerous awards for his work in both the mental health and addictions fields. Dr. Pecoraro lectures worldwide. He has published numerous articles in professional journals, magazines and has appeared on television and radio. His associates are caring individuals. Our commitment extends to the family as a whole and endeavors to deliver the highest quality treatment of addictive disorders at the best value.Focus Healthcare of Tennessee’s Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to allow for increased flexibility while continuing therapy, education, and early recovery activities needed for steady progress. This program, like all other programs at Focus Healthcare, is individualized. You will start to engage in recovery activities in the community and continue attending 12-Step support groups, as well as obtaining a sponsor if you have not already done so. Issues of importance include: relapse prevention, building a personal support system, strengthening relationships and continued education about recovery.
