About
WAHI Center
Congratulations! You have found the premier inpatient center for drug and alcohol detoxification and treatment. Our holistic, naturopathic medical therapies are aimed at first correcting the severe nutritional imbalances that contribute to an often prolonged and challenging withdrawal and addiction patterns that, because of their difficulty, often lead to relapse. By properly replenishing and rebuilding your body's nutritional biochemistry, we can renew your energy and clear your mind so that you can process issues in your life that may be contributing to personal defeat and patterns of negative behavior. When this is accomplished, we can then facilitate your quest to personal empowerment through achieving a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in your life. The core philosophy of the Wahi Center revolves around the recognition that every human being on the planet has a unique purpose for which they are alive. This purpose becomes skewed and sometimes even lost with the use of alcohol and other drugs, and it is our goal to assist each individual to rediscover their sense of self and their purpose in this life. Dr. David Arneson N.M.D. has worked in both the volunteer and employee capacity in the field of addiction for over twenty years. For two years, he served in the capacity of Clinical/ Medical Director at the Pathways Naturopathic Detox Program in Phoenix, Arizona. Previously, Dr. Arneson was the Medical Director, and co-founder, of The River Source Naturopathic Detoxification and Treatment Program, in Mesa, Arizona, since its inception in 2003 until May 2007. He is a Clinical Instructor of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences where he supervises and trains student doctors in clinical settings. He also maintains a private practice, focusing primarily on medical detox from all manner of street drugs ranging from methamphetamines, opiates, alcohol, and cocaine, as well as various prescription drugs of abuse.
