In 2007 Footprints in Recovery became the first faith-based private substance abuse recovery facility on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since then we have welcomed numerous recovering addicts into our home-like setting. At Footprints in Recovery we do understand the bondage of addiction, and educate our clients on the disease. We are equipped to address addiction by a holistic approach in a Christian environment. Our staff is committed to exemplify faith and hope, not only to our residents, but to their families. We are holistic in the sense that our approach facilitates healing of body, mind, and spirit. Individual and family counseling is provided by extraordinary licensed professionals. Being a small, private facility brings an enormous advantage over state and public detox wards and treatment hospitals. We host a family weekend gathering in both our 30 day and 60 day substance abuse treatment programs.
