We are proud to offer all the traditional approaches that work for those suffering from addictions but we also have creative approaches. We offer Destination Therapy which gets away from the standard group therapy and explores an individual’s defects in different settings. We move clients toward all different types of activities outside the group setting and with staff they achieve long desired goals in a safe, sober atmosphere. We also invite the family into treatment to participate with their loved one. We have staff work with family members in accordance with the individual in treatment. The result is a healthier family unit and long term recovery.

MASH offers six programs for young men addicted to drugs and alcohol. Serenity House is a residential treatment center for those ages of about 16 and 28. Avner Bush Academy is a Georgia accredited high school. Cares is a residential program for those with at least 90 days clean. Gentry’s is independent sober apartment living designed for Cares graduates. Aftercare offers support for those living in their chosen community. Alumni Relapse Prevention serves men 21 who have completed all programs.

The New Direction, a turn of the century Catskill Mountain farmhouse, on two hundred acres, is a Guest House for the intermediate care of alcoholics and addicts. Since 1977, we have provided the still functioning alcoholic/addict with the necessary tools for recovery. We offer a compassionate,supportive,vigorous educational program, focused on the Twelve Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Capstone is a licensed residential treatment program serving troubled young men (14-24) who struggle with substance abuse, family conflict, and personal problems including loss, hurt, anger, abuse, depression, low self-esteem, defiance and a rebellious attitude. The average length of stay is approximately 3–3.5 months.
