The New Direction, a turn of the century Catskill Mountain farmhouse, on two hundred acres, is a Guest House for the intermediate care of alcoholics and addicts. Since 1977, we have provided the still functioning alcoholic/addict with the necessary tools for recovery. We offer a compassionate,supportive,vigorous educational program, focused on the Twelve Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. We are a small,private pay facility that remains affordable, at $4,900.00 for twenty-one days. Our valued reputation in the addiction field has always been based on the client's needs. MASH offers six programs for young men addicted to drugs and alcohol. Serenity House is a residential treatment center for those ages of about 16 and 28. Avner Bush Academy is a Georgia accredited high school. Cares is a residential program for those with at least 90 days clean. Gentry’s is independent sober apartment living designed for Cares graduates. Aftercare offers support for those living in their chosen community. Alumni Relapse Prevention serves men 21 who have completed all programs.
