The New Direction, a turn of the century Catskill Mountain farmhouse, on two hundred acres, is a Guest House for the intermediate care of alcoholics and addicts. Since 1977, we have provided the still functioning alcoholic/addict with the necessary tools for recovery. We offer a compassionate,supportive,vigorous educational program, focused on the Twelve Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Clarity Way is a 15-bed holistic facility providing maximum one-on-one interaction and attention for each client in the areas of mind, body and spirit. On-site medical detox is available, and the facility is monitored 24/7 by on-site nursing and support staff. Clarity Way provides clients with completely individualized treatment and a minimum of 10-15 individual therapy sessions per week. We focus on each person as a whole and clients also receive sessions for their body and spirit. Clients receive two massage therapy and two personal fitness training sessions per week.
