About
Torah and the Twelve Steps Residential Program
We are an action oriented rehab which integrates the 5000 year tradition and Wisdom within Jewish mysticism or Kabala with the Twelve Step model to correct the underlying source of addiction. Our coed thirty to ninety day faith based residential program with extended care is open to anyone regardless of background as we teach a universal approach for all mankind from the Torah. Addiction is often termed a spiritual malady whereas drugs and alcohol mimic the need for a relationship with the Creator through a”pseudo spiritual” sense of connection. By achieving intimacy with G-d through one’s soul root the addict’s existential loneliness and emptiness vanishes removing the addiction and other compulsive behaviors. Without a profound character change or spiritual awakening, the addict will continue to use drugs and alcohol in spite of all consequences, sincere desires to stop, or obvious necessity. Thus we know we need to transform the whole being not just attempt to prevent relapse. Our Rabbi who is a seasoned therapist in treating dual diagnosis has over 25 years experience intervening in the lives of addicts. The program has over forty hours of supervised structure weekly with a very comfortable residence located near the second south beach for an extremely affordable rate. Please see our website for more information; we would love to talk with you. Rabbi Burns 3057763794.

We are proud to offer all the traditional approaches that work for those suffering from addictions but we also have creative approaches. We offer Destination Therapy which gets away from the standard group therapy and explores an individual’s defects in different settings. We move clients toward all different types of activities outside the group setting and with staff they achieve long desired goals in a safe, sober atmosphere. We also invite the family into treatment to participate with their loved one. We have staff work with family members in accordance with the individual in treatment. The result is a healthier family unit and long term recovery.

About
Dr. Timothy M. Kehrig D.C. P.A.
Here at Dr. Kehrig’s Office of Chiropractic and Wellness, we specialize in correcting the cause of pain with gentle chiropractic care. Chiropractic care is great for acute pain and also chronic pain.
Stresses in our life whether from physical, chemical or emotional sources, cause our bodies to become overloaded. The first system of our bodies that becomes overloaded is the nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and nerves).
Gentle chiropractic care helps to alleviate the overload of pressure on the nervous system. Symptoms like headaches, neck pain, low back pain, acid reflux, sciatica, muscle spasms, nervousness and irritability, lack of healing, and low energy are relieved.
Chiropractic philosophy gravitates toward a holistic (“total person”) approach to healing which combines elements of the mind, body and spirit and maintains that health depends on obedience to natural laws, and that deviation from those laws can result in illness.
Studies have shown that patients in a drug-addiction treatment program who received chiropractic care made fewer visits to a nurses’ station and showed significant decreases in anxiety. Correction of the pressures caused by mis-alignments results in a sense of well-being that allows patients to benefit more thoroughly from group therapy and medical care of the addiction treatment.
Chiropractic care does not treat addiction – it does not treat any disease. Chiropractic care allows those things that treat addiction to be embraced more thoroughly.
Dr. Kehrig is also certified in MUA (Manipulation Under Anesthesia) for patients with chronic pain that has not healed from conservative methods. Contact our office for a free dvd on this treatment.
Dr. Kehrig accepts most insurance plans and also has affordable plans for the uninsured. Contact our office today for a consultation at no charge.

About
Jacqueline Boutrouille, MD
The disease of addiction is complex and painful. It is characterized by shame and guilt which contributes to a delay in seeking treatment. Many people use substances to function each day and fear what will happen if the don’t have it. As a psychiatrist trained in addictions I have developed my private practice with this in mind by providing outpatient detoxification and aftercare services in a private and confidential setting that is medically safe. Outpatient detoxification is for people who do not need inpatient but still need supervised medical attention to get through withdrawal. We do this with a team of professionals skilled in addictions. Our goal is to provide a safe withdrawal and teach the skills needed to prevent relapse. I am also the Medical Director of the Maternal Addiction Unit at Plantation General Hospital, the outpatient program at University Pavilion Hospital in Tamarac and the rehabilitation program at Challenges in Margate. While in Charleston, SC., I ran case studies on smoking cessation. A new medication called Chantix has proven to be effective along with behavior modification to prevent relapse. We can develop individualized programs to help pregnant women with psychological and homeopathic treatment. Earlier in my career I practiced as a family physician in the West Indies for 12 years where I treated many alcoholics on a daily basis. At that time treatment was very limited and frustrating for the physician as well as the patient. I am proud to say that medicine has made substantial progress in the field of addictions. Research now supports that addiction is a medical disease and pharmacotherapy measures have been developed.Medications such as Campral, Vivitrol, Revia, and Suboxone are options available along with therapy and self help groups. In a private and confidential setting there is no need to delay seeking help any longer.

About
Williamsville Wellness
Williamsville Wellness is a unique, residential treatment center designed for men and women suffering from the effects of alcoholism. Williamsville Wellness is a serene and healing environment in the countryside outside of Richmond, Virginia. It is our conviction that drinking became the problem when it was used to seek relief from many underlying issues. Our treatment philosophy is that the root of the problem requires identification so that it can be treated, leading to recovery. Abstinence from the grips of this addiction leads to serenity and an enhanced quality of life. For this process to occur, an individualized treatment plan is developed for each Williamsville Wellness client. Each client receives intensive, individualized therapy: as many as 65 or more one-on-one sessions during the course of a one-month program. The treatment plan is designed with the alcoholic and for the alcoholic, and includes family members. Williamsville Wellness is proud of its comprehensive treatment team consisting of leaders and specialists in their fields: a clinical director who is an addiction psychiatrist, psychologists, a family therapist, an addiction counselor, a hypnotherapist, an art therapist, a psychodynamic therapist specializing in trauma work and including one who has walked the line, the peer counselor. These counselors understand and know how to treat alcoholism dependency.

About
New Life Launch Pad
New Life Launch Pad, Inc. is the elite recovery house system in Wilmington, N.C. We provide pleasant homes in nice neighborhoods for the physical wellbeing and recovery support, on average, of 100 men and women. Ours is a system comprised of 18 individual houses, an outpatient facility licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and three auxiliary buildings for groups and recreational events. In addition to the rules and requirements (among them: community service, curfews, treatment/recovery plan accomplishment) our residents are coached and monitored in pursuing their own ethical and spiritual fulfillment, as well as disciplined 12-step program membership. Our eight- year history in this historical North Carolina coastline community is a regional standard for the growth of cultural solution to the cultural tragedy of alcoholism/addiction. We are respected and legally permitted by local government authority. Scores of our graduates remain in the local community and have established private homes and lifestyles complimentary to our mission. Our licensed, professional division, Addiction Solutions, Inc., is staffed by 7 SA counselors and includes 2 MSWs, 2 Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists and 2 Certified Clinical Supervisors. The Launchpad system also currently includes 14 ‘Recovery Coaches’ who serve as house managers, some of whom are pursuing professional credentialing as counselors. Because social and sports participation are valuable contributors to personal growth we sponsor teams in local city recreational leagues. Celebrate Recovery, a Christian-based 12-step fellowship, is included, along with Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, for fulfillment of the requirement that all our residents be members of 12-step programs.
